This is a test.... No, no tragic news to report...but this article makes me want to cry. With museums like this, we must seem like absolute lunatics to the rest of the world. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/621 Current mood: I'm a bit of a Nintendo fangirl at heart. Hey, I need my "Zelda" fix! Why do I have to wait an extra month to get "Twilight Princess" on Gamcube? I want it NOW! NOOOOOOOW! Ummm...moving on. Needless to say, I found this site, which documents what happens when one gets a little too much into, say "Wii Sports," and sends the "wiimote" flying. http://www.wiihaveaproblem.com/ To all my buddies: If you haven't seen "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang", rent it ASAP. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Its name is THE STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL. I'm going to need therapy. And lots of it. Current mood: So, lets say you and your friends manage to get an off-campus house. But your neighbors complain, and you are told that there are too many people in the house for it to be considered a college residence. Either some of you're friends have to move out, or you have to start paying taxes on the house. You're a poor college student--you can't pay taxes So what do you do? ( You find a loophole, that's what you do. ) You'd think, that as a devoted "24" fan--a show where my favorite characters get killed every season on a regular basis--I'd be used to my heart getting ripped out and stomped on for good measure. That I'd come to expect that, every time I embraced and declared my love for a particular character, it would only mean they would die soon. Seriously, you'd think I'd be used to this. You were wrong. Very wrong. "Lost" writers: I hate you all. What an absolutely atrocious way to kill off such a great character. As if I didn't need another reason to love NPR. Now this comes along. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/stor I love how serious the interview is. Happy Halloween everyone. The bad news: I got a grade on a science test so bad I want to burn said test and never speak of it again. The good news: The dining hall had cheesecake for desert. And I got the last piece. Sometimes the little things make me feel so much better. It's very hard to get a good night's sleep when you're hacking your lungs up every three minutes. Ugh. I though I was getting better. I could breathe again, my sore throat was gone...and then the cough starts. And when I think that THAT is disappearing, all I have to do is walk outside and the cold air will set me off again. While watching "Battlestar Galatica" last week with Katlin, I started coughing so hard she ran off to get me a bottle of water (I love my friends). Seriously, this cough sounds so bad that you'd think I had TB. Or lung cancer. Actually, considering all the people who smoke on this campus, that could be a possibility. I kid. But this is the reason why I'm turning in so early. Time to make some more tea and read some more of "Watchmen." |
